    e46 Steering Rack Swap

Is there a specific part # for the rack that i can swap? sources?

I'm coming up with a couple numbers, and don't know what the differences are.

they all work; you need the same hardware spacers and steering U joint kit from tiny tim as a e36 rack would need.

even the e46 m3 rack pops right in if you want a lot of steering angle for drifting use or track use; I fitted a e46m3 rack to my e36m3 to increase total steering angle and have a faster response rack

Z4 non powered steering rack fits e30

Thanks! That sounds great, and a hell of a lot easier than sorting through all the Z3 rack hearsay.

Beware of r3v-tards talking about rack swaps when they cannot even get one done safely/completely.

Use the newest and safest parts; one may not have a second chance at life otherwise.

        E46 rack is obviously newer than e36/7 z3 :)
