hey guys,
i just found in my garage an e36 steering rack from my dads 96(i believe) 325i. i really want to put it on my 89 325i. my concern is whether it's leaking or broken. when i extend the left side of the rack i see small amount of grease come out with it, opposed to none when extending the right side of the rack. is this ok? what are signs of a finished/leaking/broken rack. its not on a car so i cant see how it works while driving. hope someone can help.
