Hi, so im pretty new to suspension, and im not entirely sure how everything works and what everything is with coilovers. i wanted to know wich coilovers i could get the lowest with, without cutting,welding or changing anything, well because i dont know how. i have a 1989 325i coupe thankyou

Well, from reading his post it sounds like his main goal is to get low. If you want to go low on an e30 with coils, you MUST section your strut housings. Otherwise you won't have any shock travel.

Oh i see what you're saying and that makes sense. I've got a used set of GC coils im planning to install soon but im not planning on lowering it that much, maybe an inch or so and i was worried i'd have to modify the strut housing to accommodate them.
