It wouldn't be a simple bolt on.

I've always had full coilovers. I bought the sleeves/springs on ebay and I feel cheap. :(

That's what I have to do. I've gotten used to doing it, so it's not really that much of a PITA anymore.

In the front the OBX install is pretty easy. You can install them unmodified, but you will lose a little of the adjustment because the adjuster will eventually hit the stock spring perch. I just cut off the stock spring perch, but I left about 4mm up from the welds for the sleeve to sit on. I used a cutting disc and finished it with a dremel. With the stock perch removed this is how low it can go. Extremo dump

    Stock jack on grass.

That looks like Georgia red clay. Harder than concrete when dry. Isn't that jack a product of "superior German engineering"? Before you hit the reply button, I am being facetious!

I guess it's the thrill of it all.

I barely trust the stock jack to change a wheel, let alone do any serious work.

305 front, 450 rear. I bought the whole kit on ebay for $150. I have been using it for 2 years with no problems.

It is not about being ingenius, its about teh cheap. These don't "require" drilling of the trailing arm, just like GC, but I decided to do it for support. The only real needed modification is to make the sleeve fit over the TA nipple thing.

    Spring Rates

I have a different brand (el cheapo-$100 at your door) than OBX and the spring rates are 350 and 450. There's also a set specifically for the E30 from Cosmo Racing in Canada for $200. Their rates are 275 and 360. The attraction of the OBX and other E36 kits is price. $100-$130 per set.
