Shocks

I need new shocks for the e30, which ones would you guys choose between these two? I'm trying to restore the factory ride but at the same time improve it a little if possible. I'm not trying to lower the car or get coilovers just yet.

I kind of want the Bilsteins would they be a good choice to go with?

Bilstein Touring are great for a car on stock springs.

If you want to go cheap KYB are great for the price.

Im a koni man through and though. after having tons of shock types. the Konis are the only ones i use anymore. this guy is offering a good price set. yes they are adjustable from stock springs to coilovers.

I really don't see a need for $600 shocks on a car with stock springs.

Matt, this lead me to believe that he may want to drop to like sport springs or something lower in the future. so, why replace shocks again? - was my thinking.


but then again if the OP will keep is stock forever, just get the cheap KYBs and call it a day.

Thanks for the help guys. I plan on keeping it stock for a while, Konis are nice but are out of my price range.

Planing on getting coilovers from CAtuned in the future. Need to replace my 20+ year old shocks asap.

call that guy and get the shocks. $160 will fix your issue for as long as you need.
