Konigsport coilover system: remove stock spring perch?

    Hey guys,

I'm looking at both the GC coilover kit and this Konigsport system from ECS (trying to keep it around $1K):

    http://www.ecstuning.com/BMW-E30-325...vers/ES259997/

Anyone know if the stock spring perch needs to be removed for the Konigsports as well? I'd like to go lower than the 1.5" the Bilstein/Eibach combo will do, but don't really want to deal with the cutting and welding required for the GCs.

Full disclosure: first time doing this, so apologies if it's a dumb question.

Cool, thanks for the quick response.

The follow-up question would be whether or not they're any good... I haven't been able to find much on them other than a few posts back in 2010. Any idea?

I just bought a set of BC Racing BR coils the other day from enjuku racing, They came with no-charge spring rates of your choice, and the reviews I have read seem to be very positive, take it for what its worth.

        I payed $999 shipped.

Yeah, they do. Wish I could find someone who has them... But I think I'll probably end up getting them when they're available on ECS.
