vert front sway bar on 318i: where did it go?

I recently upgraded the front sway bar on my 318i to a vert sway bar. At first it was awesome. I could really hug the corners and seemed like I was really leaning in to the turn rather that swaying away from it. Soon after, I went on a bimmer cruse with the local BMW CCA and it performed like a dream. However, since that day, I don't get the same tight feeling anymore when cornering during spirited driving. Did something happen? did I just brake it in so to speak? btw im on HR race and Bilstein Sport.

Maybe some bolt is loose or a bushing is bad but then again it could be the muffler bearing.

Did you replace bushings and endlinks at the same time?

What does the muffler bearing have to do with the sway bar?

You might have gotten used to it.

Or, you might have broken the sway bar mount.

Time for stiffer bars and reinforced mounts :)
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

I felt the same way after 6 months.

Vert bar in front, IX bar in rear, I know its the same but got used to the tight feeling.
