    New suspension, what needs replacing?

im getting the billy/h&r kit from bimmerparts.com
I also have a few small parts coming with it that the car needs, but my question is, seeings i do not have a dealership close by, what bushings, etc should i purchase aswell.
Im trying to keep it as cheap as possible, im installing the suspension myself as im still in school for a couple months. But i dont want to get into this and have bushings falling apart as my old suspension comes off. The whole front end was re done a little while ago. Incl tie rods, ball joints, steering rack, etc. Also rear shock mounts, sub frame bushings.
Guys have any input here? Thanks,
    Mitch F.

Can you explain what the numbers refer to? Yes, I'm a n00b but I like to learn :).

I see you too are doing the Billstein/H&R kit. Thanks again for mentioning the lower cost through bimmerparts.

I am trying to find it on bimmerparts.com but can't find it. I need it for a vert if that matters. Anyone have the link off hand?

                  Thanks

Here's what I found on bimmerparts (however this can't be it, their price shows as 756.85) Mitchfong stated they had a better price than TMS. The description doesn't mention who the springs are by either.

Here's the link to the Bilstein shocks/H&R spring suspension kit from TMS:

Do you think it would affect the vert more than 1.25 inches, I would like something alittle lower?

From what I've read that will depend on your wheels, tires, the condition of other components, bushings etc.. I think you can also remove the spring pad for extra lowering. There's a few threads on that under unsprung and whatnot.

For a Vert' you should buy a kit made for them as they normally come with different springs and shock. If you use standard e30 kit the ass end of a vert will sag. The H&R race spring's will give you more drop then the sports. Bimmerfanatik has the Race's on his vert and they look sweat a lil' on the low side but..........

You think 17's would fit under the setup bimmerfanatik has or would I just be basically stuck with 16's. I don't know which size to go with right now so I would like to make sure I have variety.
