Need info on hose connecting pump to steering rack

Are these hoses directional?

Not sure what yr/model you have, but on a '90 325i sedan, the hollow bolts and seal rings are the same on both ends. The angle of the metal hose on the fittings is different from end to end, so the hose probably fits only one way.

Depends on what you're doing, on a rack swap most people flip the direction of the hose to get it to work but will work either way as long as you get it to fit right.
