    Anyone running this setup? Opinions? (Drift)

    I'm in the works of building my e30 for the track and I plan on putting e46 front control arms, with e36 (non M) brakes/hubs with e36 bc coilovers (front), from all the research I've done I believe this is the way to go, just want to get an opinion or two on what people are running for drift setups

    If you do 5 lug with E46 arms and non-M E36 spindles your front wheels will be WAY too far back.

      When you say far back..you mean caster wise? I remember seeing that 96+ m3 front setup will fit, I should obviously get e36 m3 coilovers to match that then? Will e36 (non M) coils fit up front with the (M) spindles? I just ask because I have a full e36 325is coupe sitting in front of me and I would like to use as many parts as I can off of it

        You NEED the M spindles and 96+ M control arms to make it work properly.. MR 325 I'm sure can elaborate further. Will it run with a mix of M and non M parts yes, but not for your desired application. Have a look over the following;

          To center the wheel correctly you have to run the 96+ M3 spindles AND 96+ M3 control arms along with offset control arm bushings such as the ones from the E30 M3. You can use E36 M or non M coilovers.
