How stiff a spring to run in the rear with 255's

I recently got my square 255/35/18's on yeah car and the rear squats terribly. I run a full set of GC coilovers and run 550 up front but my rear is a measly 600. Any recommendations are appreciated.

ya 950 will be good. but you may need to get your shocks rebuilt to handle it.

Good idea I will ask GC when I call them to order the 950's tomorrow. I currently run bilsteins so I think they are good but I will check.

I was compressing the rear springs on acceleration so much that the rear was dropping 2.5 inches and around turns I was bottoming the springs out.

One thing that you wanna remember is that you want the car to squat a bit to get the power to the ground I think I going to go with 850's for my m60 car. 950 would be the upper limit in my mind. just my

TheTacoman runs 750R with 255's, seems to work really well.
I run 650 rear with my 245's and I get a very minor rub if I'm WOT and hit a bump.

              550 front x .88= 484
              950Rear x .45= 427
              .87

Which is almost spot on ratio wise to my original setup
              440 front x .88 = 387.2
              750 rear x .45 = 337
              .87

I am currently 37% under sprung

I dont rub at all with 750 Rear 255 Rs3s, on freeway bumps like the ones over by the Summit mall had some rubbing at 70mph, but I have cut alot more out with the widebody. If I had to do it again I would go slightly stiffer.

I was tempted to go 850 but 950 seems perfect as I prefer to run over 1/2 a tank of gas when I track the car.

950 for the win. I just took the car out and it is dead neutral you can feel the weight transfer as you load and unload the corners. Very happy with 950 not bad for ride either.

So 550f and 950r is the magic superhero handling status setup? I'm running my little old m20, but I might eventually call our friend over at KA Motors and add a little more power to this baby hehe. I will be calling GC for my coilover order this week, what would you guys do if you did it all over again?

I would go with the same rate as I am right now. It is perfect.
