Will coilovers work with Drum Brakes?

I have an early model 85 318i with Rear Drum Brakes. Will there be any issues with this when installing coilovers like JOM/BC or other?

I already have late model front suspension from a 325i with the larger diameter struts so I know they will work there.

I may switch to Disc later on but this is a slow and low project so drums in the rear are fine.

    Thanks

Yea they will work fine. Nothing different between suspension setup expect the drums of course and maybe a rear sway but you don't need those. I would really consider doing a rear disc swap. I got everything to do it and redid the brakes on all four corners pads rotors Etc for under 400. Could do it for even cheap if you ripped the rear trailing arms and ebrake cables out of disc model at a yard.
