I was doing my rear subraframe bushing and rtabs and was going to rent the sir tools to do it after I tried the methods discussed here extensively. The clamp method while using to sockets appears impossible to me.
I went to autozone to rent a 2 jaw pulley and a pitman arm puller, but "fortunately" I was given a wrong part, a GM tie rod puller.
I used these two pieces and a heat gun and all the bushings were easily removed in less than 15 minutes.
Hopefully this might be helpful for anyone that want to do the bushing without spending any money in tools.
