My e30 has recently developed a creaking noise and clunking noise up front every time I go over a bump. It seems that every time I go over a bump or the suspension has to elongate or decompress then shorten and compress there's a creaking/groaning sound and sometimes sounds like clunking. I've gotten under the car and tightened every nut and bolt under the spring. I'm running Megan Coilovers and the control arms are FEBI with offset delrin bushings both from Ireland Engineering. The noise continues even after I tightened all nuts I could find and I even tightened the top not to the coilover system. It's been quite cold in Colorado and I'm wondering if that's the problem and making weird things happen with the suspension. I wouldn't imagine the shocks being blown in the front since I don't run any crazy camber and the Megans have less than 2500 miles on them. Could there be a possibility the controls arms peg in the bushing that makes a creaking noise every time I go over a bump?
