    Bilstein b8 for lowering

    Hi,

went trough all threads with bilstein b8 and h&r setup reviews, but haven't seen anything about h&r race with these shocks, only "sport" springs. Is it a good thing to combine H&R springs or any other more stiffer with bilstein b8 to achieve nice amount of low? or to go with megan/bc thing? My main thing will be to eliminate wheel gap with R16's and low height tires. And of course i dont want to blow my shocks fastly.. my e30 is face-lifted, has lower arches

I would suggest the koni adjustable shocks

My bilstiens suck....they blew out after a year and if you Dont trim the internal bump stops than you have no travel

But isn't konis designed for minimal lowering, and they are stock length shocks, while b8 are shortened?

I have the H&R race and Bilstein Sport B8 combo, the internal bump stop has been trimmed, this combo works fine but there is a better version of the Bilstein, there was a E30 Bilstein clubsport version which was only sold in Europe, if they are available, I would go that route

How about wheel gap? What tires you use and size of the rim? Im about that stance look, just wondering if its possible to achieve it with bilsteins and tight springs
