linking my original post in here because the suspension section doesnt get much traffic. have any of you used these upper mounts? Theyre stock replacements, made in china, and they suck. the bearing rock around in there and im afraid the car is gonna be a noisy pile of crap if I install the struts with these on there

i have those. i've had them for 2 years, no problems with them. mine didn't have nearly the amount of play as in your photos though.sigpic -
FEQ, URO, MTC, Ocap, some Hamburg-Technic, some Pex, some Corteco are things I avoid.
Use BMW, Lemforder, and Meyle HD (have even had a few sub-par Meyle parts) whenever possible.
I also try very hard to not buy items made in China. It's not that they will always be worse quality parts, but they frequently are. Mainly, I just that I choose to not buy it if the MFR decides to make it in China.Comment
