    what springs to get

I was wondering if anyone had any input between the H&R super sport springs and the race springs. I want it to handle way better than it does now and lowering it is just a bonus for me. My 91 325i is my daily so I want it to be some what comfortable to drive around but if the performance of the race springs are that much better than it's worth it.
Thanks in advance. I'm sure this question has been asked a bagillion times.

I also plan on eventually do sway bars and strut bars as well but I've only had the car for a couple months.

ah yes, a question i can answer.
Sine the car is your DD, esp with crap roads up there. The HR race will be overly stiff. i recommend HR sport, not the super sport.
Then you can get the koni yellow sport shocks or KYB sport shocks and enjoy your car without getting murdered by the road.

but if you don't give a crap about your back or your date, HR race and billstines will be perfect. you can take your car from the street straight to the tack and feel very at home there. your dates will complain if the trip is more than 30min. but if that doesnt matter, then get the race springs. i had them on my dd and didnt like it. I am now on ground-controls and konis and the ride is really nice.

Thanks man. I take the bilsteins have a higher spring rate? I love koni yellows, but just curious.

I had H&R races and bilstein sports on my e30 and live downtown TO. They were great when I was in the mood to have fun and drive hard, but slightly too stiff on a daily basis IMO.

The bilsteins are a harsher ride but needed for a higher spring rate / drop (like the h&r race)

Bilsteins are shocks, they are linear and on bumpy roads feel harsh. konis and kyb are non-linear and feel softer on bumpy roads. billys are for track and konis for street, seems to be the general consensus around here.

Duh I knew that haha. I think I'll do the super sports and konis. I still want to track it a couple times a year but just for fun not for actual races. Maybe some day it will become my track car, but not any time soon. I know for sure that next summer I'm doing a 1J swap. This summer is suspension and body
