Alright guys here is my situation Ive bought my e30 and obviously like the title says I want to lower it. I have done hours of searching on a direct answer on if my idea is logical for what I have in mind for my car. I have seen tons of people saying get H&R springs with koni or bilstein sports, but if Im gonna spend like 800 on a set up like that I would personally just save up a bit more and get coilovers for 1000 and up price range but i dont wanna spend 800 on lowering my car considering paid 800 for the car its self. Now Im only going to dd my car no drifting auto-x or anything like that I drive less than 40 miles a day since I work full time and have a short commute, I have been told to stay away from racelands and the gc coilover conversion kit but for what I want look wise these seem to be my go to options at the moment. What do you guys suggest?

Curious why someone would tell you to stay away from GC?
Raceland I understand. -
^ agreed. Who told you to stay away from the most popular and proven setup?
I have been running around on JOM's for a while (similar to raceland) and they are simply crap compared to my GE with bilstiens. Bouncy and uncomfortable. buy once and buy right.
You can do the GC conversion, then down the road do proper shocks and camber plates. Struts on a 800 dollar car are most likely blown anyways.Comment

A product with a 30+ year history, made in America, and a lifetime guarantee...
Overpriced? The set I've had on my '85 MR2 since 1989 says not.Comment

Yeah a bunch of people on FB pages and stuff are telling me stay away from these types of set ups just get BC or some other 1,000 plus set up. But from my own personal choice I feel like I will go with the ground control coilover conversion kit for now and then later on get camber plates and shocks to finish my set up. As of right now I just want to be lower than stock height and come two or three months from now I will have a good proper set up. Thanks for the feed back guys.Comment
