    Which springs best?

Sorry if I'm being ignorant, but this is my first time doing this and I don't want to get anything wrong. I'm thinking of the H&R springs, but I don't know which is the best. I am thinking the super sports would be good, ( http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-18...325iis-m3.aspx ) as they are a bit lower than the regular sports and not as stiff as the race springs. What do you guys say? I'm a fairly spry kid and the roads around here are pretty smooth, but I do care for my oil pan. My car is an 88 Super Eta, for reference.

I have had the race version on for a year now and I have barely hit my oil pan, if at all.

race/ie3 springs will be fine in terms of lowness. you would have to drive over boulders to bust your oil pan on these springs.

Okay, thanks a lot. What shocks were you running? How did that affect it? Do you like the races?

Has anyone tried the h&r super sports yet? I'm torn between bilistein sports with H&R race, super sport and I&E stage 3 springs.

I know there's plenty of info and reviews on race and IE but I haven't read a whole lot about the super sports..

I'm planning for a 5-lug big brake setup so 17x8 wheels with preferably a beefy tire on a sedan just for reference. I currently have a cabrio with coilovers that I find a bit harsh for daily driving ( eichbach springs F 500/ R 700Lb with shortened housings and bili HD IX shocks in the front and kyb agx rear camaro shocks, condor bushings all around)

any additional input is appreciated ( Not trying to highjack this thread, just trying to keep the theme going )

I've read that the super sports wouldn't be too desirable because they drop lower than the HR sports but have the same spring rates which would cause them to bottom out easier I think? I just put on IE3's and they seem good, they feel fine for daily driving

you could just get lower rate coil springs.

I was debating between the HR sport and race: ended up going with Vogtland paired with billy sports. Spring rates of the Vogtlands are between the Sport and Race, as is the drop.

                  very happy with the setup...

Stoked to see how stoked you are on the setup. Wish i had some billy sports back when i was running those springs. Still in between on whether going billy sport or koni sa...

From everything I've heard/read, Koni's provide a superior ride. Billy's end up being too firm and give a harsh ride with no benefit.
