    Raising the rear...

I'm rolling with some H+R sport springs on my 90 coupe. I'd like to lift the rear end back up an inch or so, because there is basically no travel. Especially when loaded. I have the 10mm spring pads, but its not enough.

I'd like to keep the front where it is, but raise the rear without messing up the balance of spring rates front to rear.

Would m3 rear springs do the job? or will it likely handle like shit?
    Lemme hear your

      Raising the rear.

The rear spring travel rate is .65 of the wheel travel rate due to the spring being correspondingly closer to the rear trailing arm pivot point. You only need to add 5/8" to the spring to get the car up 1". The rubber spring pads flatten out. Use something solid that is 5/16" thick on the top and bottom of the springs and spend the money for new springs on something else.
