    GC spring rates

    Koni sports and GC coil overs . This is my daily driver . What suggestions on spring rates ? Help

    440/650 is by far the most popular combo, but if you're just rolling around on the street you can go as low as 375/550. If you run low and carry passengers in the back the 550s will bottom though.

        "Might" is like what, once a month? 12x a year? Get something comfortable or even comparable to H&R Race rates, like 375/550 as mentioned above.
        Even though you might feel them a bit soft, they are still very capable.
        Remember that stiff doesn't equal good handling, especially in the canyon where there are a lot of bumps and imperfections. You need some cushion in the suspension.

          Ride height will come into play as well. 375s will do fine on stock length struts as long as you don't go too low. If you lower over 1" or so, and corner aggressively, you'll be all over the bumpstops. Going up in rate will reduce the tendency to bottom, but at the expense of some ride quality.

          Running high rates doesn't necessarily equate to a bad ride if paired with quality dampers. Firm is a more appropriate term.
