    What shocks are these?

I'm trying to figure out what kind of Bilstein shocks I have on my car. Can someone identify them? The number on the right rear is "4600BE3238680", maybe that will help. I want to know if I will be able to safely put lowering springs on. Thanks guys!

Can't be sure from the pics .
You didn't even have to include pics just the part# since the HD's and Sports appear the same externally .

            Shock type.

Irregardless you can put lowering springs on them. The shorter Bilsteins for the front are to keep the lowering springs from hanging loose when the car is jacked up. The travel in bump is still determined by the distance from the top of the strut tube to the bottom of the upper seat. This is determined by the compressed length of the springs. Shock travel in bump exceeds this distance.

Makes sense but the actual reason the Sports are shorter are to minimize the chances of the piston bottoming out on the longer HD's when used with shorter aftermarket springs .
