H&R front sway bar installation frustration.

The bushings came with the kit is super stiff and I can not seem to install it. I even use a jack to push it up, but it lift the front before it can mate. I tried boiling it and still stiff. The bushings is quite heat resisting and I dont want to use heat gun. I think it would melt it and change the rubber properties. Should I shave off a bit.

You could shave it a bit, but that whole setup is pretty janky. Does H&R not even provide some sort of new clamping system for the front pivot mounts?

Your jack is pushing up both ends of the bracket instead of 1 end being pulled and the other end being pushed, if you get my meaning. I've had success with using vice grips (near the edge of the tab so the bolt hole is not covered) to squeeze the tabs together and then put the bolt in.

^ thanks for the pointers. I have tried jack it up with the bolt and socket but it just started to bend the bracket. When I try to jack up in the center of the bracket it just lift the whole front. And it is not any easier on the bench either.
