I'll be ordering a set of front struts for my '91 318is that don't come with boots (Bilstein B4s). The current suspension setup installed by a previous owner doesn't have strut boots either so I'm ordering new parts.
Based on this RealOEM diagram, it appears there's a boot that is no longer available so the part # isn't listed. There's also a "strut protection tube" which is available, but I don't understand where it goes or how it installs based on the diagram:

At the end of the day, I just need to order the correct parts. Anyone have part numbers or photos of how the strut boots and "protection tubes" install?
