Hey guys, I’m having a new issue with the steering feel in my e30. Steering feels tight at low speeds, doesn’t completely self-center and at high speeds the car feels loose and the steering feels like it has a lot of play. Tie rods and all other suspensions components are fairly new and the car was aligned not long ago. Rubber steering linkage looks good too. Does this sound like a failing steering rack?

Sounds like a bad alignment to me.
Take it to another alignment shop? -

I soaked the u joints on the coupler with wd40 and it freed it up. Probably just from sitting in the winter they got corroded sorry I didn’t reply earlier didn’t even see your question ^Comment
