Bump Stops and bellows - KYB SB105 vs BMW

I have a set of Bilstein B4s (Tourings) and H&R OE Sport springs I'll be installing on my 318is soon. Along with all new hardware and mounts, I also ordered the KYB SB105 bump stops and bellows for the front (https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/aud...t-bellow-sb105).

However, I'm thinking I should have gone with the OEM-equivalent pieces as they are a different design. Does it matter? KYB bump stop length might be an issue for the 318is "sport suspension"?

I would run the OEM equivalent stuff.
BMW changed their design of the bellows to the cups to eliminate dirt/moisture build up on the strut housings.
(You can see both designs on the diagram on realoem.)

Ended up going with the KYB setup. It seems good and I didn't want to go through the hassle of reordering, waiting, and returning stuff.

We'll see how it works out! :)

As long as you used anti seize on the collar and inspect them once in a while you should be good. :up:
