what do you mean by m3 suspension?

-springs would be a good improvement, also consider H&R's

-any shocks you find from an e30 m3 are probably worn out so you might consider Bilsteins

-control arms on the m3 are aluminum so you'll save some weight but they are much more expensive

-M3 CAB's are a different design and make a good upgrade

-rear sway bar is a little bigger but without a bigger front you will probably increase oversteer. look for a convertable front sway bar to even that out.

Only the later ones came with aluminum arms. The early ones were still steel. Try $300+ per side just for the arms.

Go lower, shocks and springs, and get solid M3 offset CAB's. With that you will notice a huge improvement. Those CAB's are sweet. Those 3 things are the most back for your buck.

Vic, there are many other options out there for suspension.

The big deal on M3 suspension is the 5 lug swap, plus the bigger wheel bearings of the M3.

          Not cheap!

Bigger brakes all around. Larger bearings in front axle. Same as E30 in rear axle. 5 lug hubs. Depends what you are looking for. If you use the M3 front control arm bushings, same geometry. The front sway bar has more direct action by the fact that is mounts to the strut, where the i or iS etc mount to the control arm changing the force % of the sway bay.
