FIY: the MZ3 has an 18.5mm sway bar that looks similar to that. I found it available for $120 brand new. I've also wondered if it's a direct fit but I never got a direct answer.

Increase spring rate rather than sway bar. I am surprised that with the S50 you don't have a oversteer problem. :)

If you could please keep me posted with your findings, that would be great. I am interested in seeing how that would work out.

I removed lots of weight from the front more than 50 pounds worth easy.

No A/C compressor, no lines,no receiver /drier, no washer resevoir. The car Handles very good already.
However i do need stiffer shocks in the back (ex. Bilstein, Koni) Im using cheapies right now . I am using e36 m3 H&R race springs in the back which are awesome.

Thicker sway bar would decrease body roll right? I am a newbie to suspension.

yes sway bars reduce body roll, but it's a better practice to go with stiffer springs first, then do larger sway bars if needed

I've taken the opposite approach due to the fact that I have a sewer rat instead of a track rat. I am running soft springs, stiff bar, Bilstein Touring shocks, and an E36 rack.
I can go over bumps, dips, potholes, etc. without banging and bouncing. The bar and E36 rack keep it flat with quick turn-in. The car rides good and has excellent feedback. I do most of my driving in town and under 50 MPH. The car was absolutely horrid with 350# fronts. They were just too stiff for the street.

I have a 300 on the front right now and a 550 in the rear . I need new dampers all around though

get new shocks and then re-evaluate. I think that setup should already be loose in the rear. More rear swaybar wouldnt be so great.

Well i see some of the tuners offering like 25 fr 21 rear so i figured since i have a 21mm in the front an 18 or 19 would compliment it .
