    E46 M3 cabrio RSM's

I'm going to replace/upgrade my RSM's with E46 M3 cabrio units, but I'm having trouble finding a part number and a place that carries them.

RealOEM lists 2 different very different part numbers, and they are both the same price:

    33 50 4 035 931
    33 52 6 754 096

I assume one is the coupe, and one is the cabrio. But which is which? I looked under E46 M3 convertible, and still got the 2 different numbers.

Now BMA doesn't show listings for either of those part numbers. Pelican Parts shows the first part number, but lists it as being for the M3 coupe/cabrio. Is there a difference? I have been told that the cabrio RSM is stronger and a better buy.

I thought you would have known by now that BMA doesn't list every single part on their website. If you call them, they can get you any part (as long as it's not NLA).
Just tell Patrick what you want and he'll hook it up.

Hmmm, not bad. Only $9 more than the E46, and lifetime warranty? Alrighty then. Are the reinforcement plates needed?

I'd suggest to, cheap insurance, lots of people run them and even gustave suggests using them and well, he knows his stuff.

I'd just go all out and get the IE ones, much better made. I had the E46 ones then swapped out for the IE ones after one of the oem's popped on me. I installed it wrong I know, but still.

I just bought a pair of the Bimmerworld RSM's new here on the board, and I'm going to order the reinforcement plates when I order my motor mounts from Bimmerworld, I'll let you guys know what I think of them once they're installed.

UUC Motorwerks does NOT offer these parts for sale.

Yes, replace that stuff, add the reinforcement plates. You'll have to modify them to put them on your e30 though. You'll see...

The reinforcement plates are not needed. You'll be fine without them.

Yes, they are not needed, however would they help anything? I go over some pretty shitty ass roads everyday. Would these prolong the life of the shock mounts at all?

I'm hoping your right thought. That would save me $30 :)
