I believe that is correct. Eibach makes IE's springs.

Stage III springs are the same spring rate as H&R Race, but I've never heard of the Sportsline. Are they the same?

          Sportsline

i think eibach sportsline and IE stage 3 is the same. in that case IE is charging $295 is bit over priced 'cos i saw couple of sites sell Sportsline for $235.

Pretty sure Pro-Kit = Sportline approximately. I don't think they are the same, so I'd just go for the IE's.

            Keep it slideways!!

OK i checked with Eibach and coplue of other ppl. No the pro kit and the sportsline is not the same. sportsline drops the car more than pro kit does. to be precise, while pro kit drops 1''-1.5'', sportsline drops 1.7''-2.3'' (depending on the make of the car)

but my question was IE stage 3 and sportslines is the same or not?

if anyone can post the part # of IE stage 3 springs it's a gr8 help

                thanx

I sure hope you aren't mixing up IE stg. 3 Spec E30 springs up with those pansy-ass sportlines. You will disappoint yourself if you buy the latter.

Add another inch to that once the they sag down after a year or so, like the Pro Kit.

What I was under the impression of was that Eibach specifically made the Stage III's for Ireland Engineering, and they're the only ones that distribute them. Other places sell them, but they're still Ireland Engineering.

So that means Eibach purposely make bad products under their brand (Sportsline) and make better products under IE (in this case?)
                          :drink: suprised.

No, the springs are made for different purposes. The IE Stage III springs are meant to be a race spring with race spring rates.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
