    KW Springs

Thinking of the KW 60/40 suspension kit...
Would it be better to go with the Springs only and bilsteins, or just go with the full suspension kit with their dampers.

I'm thinking of just going with the full kit... any input would be appreciated.

    Thanks

Go with the KW shocks they are very stiff on the bound not just the rebound like konis

I've heard that billie sports + 60/40 KW springs is very good, lowers like IE3, but not that low in the back (racked look) and as stiff as IE3's ..... I got billies already, just need to get the KW springs

I was quoted $399 USD shipped for KW springs yesterday!?!

They don't carry them in the US anymore so Tunershop drop ships them from Germany.

I swear I remember them being $275 or less.

Ok....well just to clear things up. KW is now offered through the company known as ST (suspension techniques). They a bit softer than the original KW's like E30bummerdyde's setup. I just ordered my set from Tunershop and paid $247 shipped to my door. But i live in Cali and i thnk the warehouse is in Cali. Hence shipping is cheaper. As far as which setup to run, either the whole set vs. bilsteins, its up to you. I too already have bilsteins and just purchased the springs. there is a guy pretty local to me that has the full spring and shock combo. So as soon as i get mine on and break them in, i'll be sure to let you know the verdict between the two setups. BUmp!

yeah the st is a little on the soft side but not as bad as stock. I would say they are in the middle of the ie3's and stock. Good deal if you ask me.

I am swapin mine out soon for some GC's with sorted spring rates. I would keep the st's but my 0et wheels like to rub.
