    PS resivior & hose removal?

The Bently isn't clear on this. I've pinpointed my PS leak to the PS ATF resivior, it's one of the hoses that attaches to it.

So I'd like to pull the whole ATF resivior and the two hoses up from the top and examine it. However this would open up the PS fluid system at the pump and at the rack. I'm not sure if this would be OK if I just slowly refilled the system when I reinsall the hoses, or if I'd need to bleed it, or what. Thoughts?

you will not need to bleed the system, just refill.

actually, if you lose alot of fluid go ahead and bleed. once everthing is back on, fill res to full, turn car on and turn steering wheel all the way left and all the way right repeatedly while slowly refilling. Once bubbles stop and the level stays put, go ahead and top off to max.
