Seems like alot of you know where you sit as far as camber, toe etc... Do you guys have alignment machines in your backyard, are measuring on your own or are you getting these readings from taking the car to get an alignment?
How does everyone here quote their camber, toe etc...

While I haven't yet done this on my track rat (RTABS & subframe bushings first), I used the string method and a camber gage to set the alignment on my 01 525. That's a somewhat slow and tedious method, but if you are after a track set up it is cheaper than repeated visits to a shop with an alignment rack. The whole thing is simplfied on an E30 because you don't normally have toe and camber adjustments in rear. Toe plates and a camber gage are all that's needed to do the front wheels. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
