used springs

hey i can get used h&r sports...good idea?
do springs lose their performance over time?
they are cheap,i lioke the price but dont want them to suck.
please respond if you have used used springs

Depends on the mileage. Most people don't have very many miles on their lowering springs vs stock springs. Most likely they are just fine. H&R makes a quality product. I had used M3 springs on my 325is for a couple years, and just recently sold them.

I have H&R springs from a racing M3. They work great, and still are very stiff.
