    Power Steering Canister...

So why haven't I seen this on an E30 yet? Would work real nice on an X5X swap where the canister is hard to see :)

Sorry for the bad pic, but the top IS clear and see through.

I have a couple of them. Porsche part numbers made by ZF offers a filtered clear top bolt in power steering resevoir. Its very nice just for the fact that when checking fluids you can look down and see it quickly. Part number 928 347 015 05 . Its hit or miss whether you will get a clear one or a painted one. Best bet is to buy them from salvage yards. They were only available on the Porsche 968 from 92-95 and 928 from 1988-1995. Retail is $18.50, most breakers want about $25 for them because of the time to remove them.
