    Pre-alignment check before a drop?

My car is not handeling right. It on stock worn suspention, but I'm not 100% sure that is the entire prolbem. It wallows a bit, no sharp turn in, feels disconected. Bad tire wear on the drivers front (inner wear)

I think I'm going to do shocks and springs (Racing dyn, and billy's) then rebuild the rear end(subframe bushings, t-arms), then the front ('95 m3 rack, tierods, ect).

(Also, from a car I recently parted out I saved all the suspention componets - so anything on my car that is bent can be replaced.)

QUESTION: With all that will be changing on the car over the next month or two, should I get an alignment check before hand to see if there is a *bigger* prolbem that needs correcting?

Unless the car has been in an accident that has bent the front frame, a suspension refresh (control arms, CAB's, & tie rods) will fix any problem other than a worn out rack. But keep in mind that bad RTAB's or subframe bushings will have a big affect on handling. Attend to all of that stuff first, then swap out the springs and shocks. And finally have an alignment done to set front toe.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
