    bmw E30 318i

I want to go with bilstein shocks and H&R springs. the springs i want are the sport that will lower by 1.3". do i need to go with a bilstein sport shock or can i use the cheaper bilstein shocks that are not sport to save some cash? just dont want to screw my ride. the car is a 1984 318i.
    thanks guys!
please send me replies, even if you know of some other cheaper shocks that have proven to work well with H&R sports. i am buying off ebay as i live in the boonies and am not lucky enough to have any decent auto supply stores nearby.
once again i apprecite any help!
    regards
    Larry

Welcome to BMW and the 318. I have a 318iS and put on the H&R and billie sports. I got the 1.3 drop and love it. The lower oil pan has not scraped but I am cautious on big dips. I am also a member in a 318 site,
M42Club.com. There are others who have helped me with questions just like this.

    I say do it.
