"small crack in the rear shock tower"

looking to buy an e30, and some of you might know where this is coming from, but anyway... seller says there is a "small crack in the rear shock tower." is this a deal-breaker? is it repairable? i don't have much info other than this, but hope to get a pic soon... any thoughts?

I would pass on this one. E30s are too common to get a structurally fucked up one...

i know. i have been looking for months though... stupid bmw. making cars for one year only. (btw it is a 318is)

I experienced the same thing looking for a delphin grey late model 325is...so I ended up with a 87 that needed paint (originally delphin) I painted it and converted it to late bumpers + turbo. :P You really have to be patient looking for a good 20 year old car.
