Spring Pads You Say? - Please, Tell Me More...

I'm guessing that these are rubber mounts that the springs sit on/under/between. I've read on here that people remove them, or replace them with thinner ones to lower their E30s. I already have lowered springs but wouldn't mind going a bit lower. Is this reccomended and are there any drawbacks to the handling? Can this be done on both the front and the rear of the car?

    Thanks, Colin.

The pn's are in the Bentley. They are specifically for lowering you car a little bit. I don't see how it could hurt. Plus, I think they are cheap...

if you wanna lower it 5mm-10mm then go ahead (I don't really see a point in lowering it that way...)

Thought there would be more like an inch drop after doing this.

The pads are tiny, 10mm is the biggest difference you will get (and that is more than likely by completely taking out the spring pad.)
