    soo it's 3 am and i'm TIRED!

Finally installed my sway bars.. the front sways rub on rims due to shitty rim offset, and the rears make a weird noise everytime i push down on my trunk.. It took me 7 hours alone to install the rear sway bars today.. Instalation is a BITCH, IE can suck my damn nuts.. now can somebody please tell me if i installed this right?? I had no instructions, nor did I know wtf I was doing, so let me know ifi did anything wrong etc etc, thanks guys!

And here is Jajou318is tellin you what's up.

There's no missing nut. The OE bushing bracket is threaded.

Installation looks good to me. Don't forget to weld that reinforcing tab to the the trailing arm. Or better yet get a pair of reinforcments that Turner Motorsports sells and weld them in.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Or just get some 12 gauge steel and make your own reinforcements!

Much of IE's product line can taste both of my sweaty balls - that shit doesnt come out right from whomever they get to manufacture it!!

No doubt it took you 7 hours!!! i busted my ass a couple weeks ago doing the same thing.

That looks like the 22mm bar so you need to do a little more reinforcement on the semi-trail arm mount points.
Yes, there is a problem with your install but its simple. You need to take into consideration the motion the linkage goes through and fine-tune the positioning of your nuts and bolts. In that first picture, that bolt should be sticking out the other way. Also, yet not as important as the first, the gold colored U-braket should be rotated 45 degrees so that i does not bind at dropped position.
Lastly, depending on your ride height, you might want to cut about 1cm off from the threaded eye connector. youll see why when you drop the car and get underneath. the bar comes pretty close to the trunk floor so imagine when you put a load on that side.

I will post some pictures to show you how mine went in

made my own bracket because IE's dont have the hole punched in the proper place.

welded up. protect your brake lines!! Turner's tutorial alerted me to that because they burned theirs in the pictures.

I kept my trunk tar so i had to chisel some. The process to mount the brackets goes like this, bolt bracket in stock location, drill from bottom up into trunk, and last use mount plate bracket in trunk to mark where the last hole goes. It only gets hard if you decide to leave the muffler in.

THIS is what your setup should look like.

Note the angle at near full soft providing with a progressive sway response. (NOT desireable)

BTW, you can ask IE to swap the 22mm rear with the 19mm!!!
i did this and am VERY happy with the balance!

Why does everyone say the trailing arm bushings and subframe bushings are hard to install? I have them on my 85 and it was really simple.

their design request may be wrong now by accidnet or the manufacturer is just dumb? Its looking that way for much of their stuff.
The recent dimentions provided by one guy in particular prove something is definetly wrong.
