How did you modify the strut housing? Did you weld at all?

I personally didnt weld, but the perches/ m3 sway bar endlink were welded up by a local shop. i DID NOT shorten the shock body, as another shop totally ruined one set of strut housings i had when i asked them to shorten the tube by 1"...

actually, im runnin NO bumpstops in the front...with the strut sitting at the bottom, and the spacer on top of that, its impossible for the strut to bottom out...of course it mite be safer to run some sort of bump stop, but yah none.

dude, im dying to find a set of semi-affordable 16x8 or 16x9s...and rotas are NOT an option.

I'm trying to buy a new set of wheels off this guy. If he ever sells them to me, one of the 9" sets will be F/S. I'll keep you posted.

yah round 700-900 is my goal wheel budget rite now. not a fan of the modernlines though. im not feeling this whole GC setup for street use though, imma run it for a month or so, then decide if i wanna keep it or sell it...

oh and sell me you Borbets you wheel whore...;)
