    D2 suspension anyone?

Is anyone using D2 coilovers on e30?

What I understood form their cataloque the stub axle location is adjustable to the strut tube and the spring yet has the tension adujustment like the "regular" coilovers.

watch out though, i hear those coilover's shocks blow out within a year. check those r33/r34 forums. btw my friend has a zenki s14 with d2s...just blew out his rear right not too long ago....had them for about 8-9 months. But other guys have had better luck, y dont you try it?

        Bump...

Can a bilstein or something be used once the shocks that come with them blow out ?

i'm really curious about this myself. Just found a local shop that can get them for a good price, but I need to know more about them before ordering... there's no documentation about the e30 specific part anywhere.

I'm curious to how they are installed in the front; do they really include a whole replacement strut tube/stub axle/etc? that would be really cool.

I'm also trying to find out if the rears are a true coilover or if they're separates like GCs etc. A full setup would be sweet, but would require some decent reinforcement up top, and would class me way out of STX for changing the suspension pickup points.

Update... found it, and ordered some. :)

This should go nicely with 5 hole suspension, Rose Jointed Sway Bars, and AMG C32 Callipers (will deciede on a disc a bit later) , and E46 M3 rear brakes :)

Hopefully the coils will be stiff enough though.
