    NEED HELP>>>GC's...

Ok I am looking at buying these...

I just picked up the ST 60/40 shocks and struts but the springs are to soft for my 0 offset. I was thinking of picking up some high rate GC's to fix the softness problem. What rates should l look for? It would be for daily and I wouldnt mind a stiff setting if it keeps me from rubbing.

Another question... If I used these with the ST shocks would these have an adjustable drop of 2.5 inch? I like to ride low and need stiffer settings. Anyone on here know?

    Thanks

    Ash

Please post pics and measurments if you can.

    thanks

Stiff rates? Go with like 450F/550R or even as high as 500F/700R (if you like it STIFF).

yeah stiffer the better...What about the drop? I currently have a 60mm front drop and 40mm rear drop and love it do the GC's allow a drop like that?

      Thanks

I am trying to get the best of two worlds lol.

GCs will allow you to go as low as you could ever want I'd think.

I go pretty damn low and I can still make mine lower.

With some serious modification they can.

          Otherwise, not so much.

ground controls can go from higher than stock to all the wat to sitting the frame rails on the ground... its all how you set them up.

I have 375f/475r and they are plenty stiff for my needs.
With camber plates my wheels have massive amounts of clearance (also very rolled fenders help) and they never rub on hard turns or angled driveways so I guess theyre stiff enough

Daily driven for 4 years so far and I'm pretty glad its not too stiff

sweet thanks guys. Ok so this is my question...

With my shortened shocks and a set of GC's 450f/650r would it be possible to achieve a drop of 2.5 inch's? If anyone has pic's or knows for a fact then I am picking up a set asap but 1.75-2 inch's isn't worth it to me. My other question is... is there any other companies that offer lowering springs with stiff rates with at 2inch + drop?

^^^ Just noticed you live in KONA!!! Man I grew up on the Big Island. Man I miss home. Im stuck in the concrete jungle lol.

Yes. Request 6" front and 5.5" rear springs, and you can tuck all around.

Those spring lengths also allow you to come back to around M3 height, so order them shorter if you want the airbagged look.
