getting all new ground control for my baby

Whats up guys. I've got an 89 325i that I purchased earlier this school year and now that school's out I finally have some time to work on it. It's got 170K on it so I figure it's time to redo the suspension. The steering feels fucking loose too so I'm thinking I need new tie rods and control arm bushings? I've been reading around and here's what I'm thinking of getting. Any other new rubber/parts I should be picking up?
(a DD street car, but I'd like to get it on the track some)

    H&R Sports and Bilstein Sports
Turner MS Suspension mount kit (front+rear strut tower mounts)
    OEM Rear Subframe Mounts
New front CAs with new bushings (Should I get offset bushings? what are bushing carrier brackets and do I need them?)
    New tie rods
Suspension Techniques Sway Bar Kit 22/19 (Do I need a reinforcement package?)
Z4 3.0i Shifter and new bushings including Delrin UUC motorwerks

Do I need any special tools besides a pickle fork and the spring compressor? I've pretty much just got sockets/wrenches and typical wood working tools.

Any advice is greatly appreciated :p Thanks!

your front strut mounts are probably a part of the loose feeling

You will definitely need to weld in reinforcements for the rear sway bar link tabs. The best are the Turner Motorsports types that triangulate the tab.

Urethane/Delrin bushings can be desireable if you intend on tracking the car. But if it is a daily driver there may be more vibrations and road feel that you might want. Offset CAB's increase caster, which is a good thing whether this a pure street car or used on the track.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
