I am at the point where I have everything on the driver's side out of the way. Control arm is out, tie rod ball joint is freed from the strut housing. I have pulled back the locktabs on the inner ball joint. Is there any way to get this out of the steering rack without a puller? Bentley says to fit a wrench on there and unscrew. I only have a large water pump style wrench that can fit on there and it sucks. I don't care if it gets trashed because I have all new stuff though. What do I need to do?

i just use a big cresent, i dont see how anything else could work. I usually dont even take off the tabs, they dont seem to make life any harder to unscrew the ITR. -
Done. Now tell me the easy way to press on the control arm bushings. Holy fuck they are tight.Originally posted by chileelkyamaze about the enthusiasm e30 generateComment
