    Loud clunking noise when driving

I have this problem with some clunking noise going on in the front end of my car after i had replaced my struts with bilstein sports and eibach springs. It annoys the hell out of me. I read somewhere that the struct lock nut isn't tight enough or i need to put oil in the strut housing before reinstalling the strut. I really don't know. I know it has something to do with the strut or how it was installed that is making the sound because i was running stock struts with the eibachs and i never had that noise. It was only afterwards did that noise come about. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Sorry for the newbie question. Thanks!

Check the upper shock mounts for wear as well as the control arm ball joints, CAB's, tie rods, sway links, and sway bushings. In other words inspect all of the front suspension for worn/loose parts.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
