I am thinking about getting the H&R sports. How low will the car look? Does anyone have pics of there 318is on these springs?

Your car may technically be a 318is...
... but if you have an M50 in it, then it's basically a 325i M20 car. The M50 weighs a little more than an M20, and a lot more than the M42 in a 318is.
So, you need to find standard 6-cylinder E30 suspension, not 318is suspension.
