    FYI I used an impact until tight then hit it with a torque wrench. worked great.

    its all good got my dye, rethreaded the ball joint. took my ride for a ripp, my god is it ever better tham stock . when i removed my old struts the were completely blown no resistance at all in the strut. thanks for everyones help.

    i need a dye because when i dissconected the old ass bolt on the controll arm it striped the stud on the outter ball joint. does any one know what size? i know the bolt is a m12x1,5.

    buy some torque tubes for the impact gun then, it can't be such a precise torque can it? you can get tubes in multiples of 10 pounds

    Wrap the towel around the strut tube to keep it from getting scratched. Go easy on the impact then hit it with the torque wrench. the tube should stay put once you get it started.

    YES, i know it wont reach the top of the travel but thats not the idea way of doing it.
