its all good got my dye, rethreaded the ball joint. took my ride for a ripp, my god is it ever better tham stock . when i removed my old struts the were completely blown no resistance at all in the strut. thanks for everyones help.Leave a comment:

i need a dye because when i dissconected the old ass bolt on the controll arm it striped the stud on the outter ball joint. does any one know what size? i know the bolt is a m12x1,5.Leave a comment:

buy some torque tubes for the impact gun then, it can't be such a precise torque can it? you can get tubes in multiples of 10 poundsLeave a comment:

Also, if you don't like what I'm suggesting - Don't do it! There's also no need to be a dick and bash my ride. My 02 is where my money goes anyways. E30s are just daily beaters for me. What I'm doing to my e30 is fine for a daily - even if it doesnt meet the status quo.

Because it if mars the surface of the strut it can damage the seals. And thats not an accurate torque setting which can damage the nut and the strut rod.
YES, i know it wont reach the top of the travel but thats not the ideal way of doing it.Leave a comment:
