    M3 springs and Koni Sports

Anyone run M3 springs with Koni Sport adjustables? ( front and rear) I am thinking of this setup for a 91 318is. Unless Koni makes a coilover kit with adjustables for e30's. I'm not sure on that.

    Word to the wise...

I tried (stock) M3 springs on my '91 318is and they didn't lower it at all - if that's what you're looking for. This is probably due to the fact that the 318is is lighter than both the M3 and the 325. They did ride better but they just didn't lower the car. I ended up buying H&Rs that are listed for the 84/85 318i (P/N 29664) and am very pleased - they lowered the car .75-1.00 inch and ride great.

when it comes to aftermarket springs. the e30 m/non-m will almost always run the same spring.

the part number for an H&R sport spring kit for a 325is is the same as an e30 3m. even though they have different weighted engines.

        Koni Top adjustables and springs

Ok So M3 springs really aren't a choice now. Looking for info on best matching springs for Koni Top adjustables for 318is. Have a set of H&R with bilstiens on my 2002 with Suspension tech sway bars and actually get a little "hop" on car. Front to rear. So I am leaning away from H&R's. And I am done with Bilstiens for now. I'm thinking Eibach or Vogtland. Any input would be greatly absorbed... Gracias..
