    Running without power steering belt

I noticed tonight on the way back from my buddy's house, that a right hand turn felt real heavy. I thought it might be a tire, but it drove fine. When I got home, I popped the hood and there aren't even pieces of the belt that I could see; it's just gone. My question is, until I can get a new belt on, can I be driving this without messing up the pump? It may be a few days.

Most SE30 racers run without the power steering, just loop the lines around to the rack.
So no, it won't hurt you for a few days.

I just know some ps pumps can blow seals if they aren't hooked to a belt and have fluid being pushed through. I guess it's hard to tell if there are any ill-effects after two years without hooking a belt on...

              Better steering feel.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

And one less accessory for the motor to turn.
